I will be married to silence

- I survived Quentin's super long day! I busied myself by talking to my dad and Thom respectively and marathoning the After movies which I hadn't seen since my obsession started last summer. They still kill me, by the way. And they have definitely gotten better over time. The latest instalment is my favorite and I cry at the end without fail. That cliffhanger with The Fray playing in the background is just too much for my little black heart to handle. Tessa and Hardin will always be my babies. I was very glad when Q got home though. I don't think I realized how tired I was having to wait up for him.
- My weekend has been absolutely lovely. I'm kind of sad that it's over. Although it was filled with various sports, we actually went out in between for a change. The weather was crap; raining on and off and very foggy, but at least it wasn't very cold. I was totally fine in just my coat and no scarf. There's a restaurant close to the hotel that I've wanted to try for literally ever called Dzo Viet Eatery. It sparked my interest because they do something called photine which is a cross between pho and poutine. Loving the latter, I knew this was something I needed to try. We just never had the opportunity to head down there as their week day timings suck. I'm so glad we finally ticked this off the list. The photine was actually life changing and the pork tacos we got with them were just as amazing. I was also a big fan of the mangosteen nectar juice I had.
- Last night we watched Deep Water. I had been going back and forth over this movie for ages. I'd pretty much forgotten about it with all those delayed releases and the fact that Ben Affleck and Ana De Armas aren't even together anymore. I think it should have probably stayed forgotten. It was by far the worst movie I have seen so far this year. The plot was messy, a lot of scenes seemed to be cut and the characters were just horrible. Not even Ana could save it and I love her. I spent the whole time wondering what the point was and hated how we never got any answers to anything.

My mom watched Deep Water and told me it was terrible. I thought Ben would've learned a lesson from Gigli with J.Lo back in the day, but I guess not. I love Ana De Armas too, so it sucks that not even she could carry the movie. I look forward to seeing whatever she'll be up to next. She was great in Knives Out.

I’ve thought about watching Deep Water, but I’ve got too many things to watch to waste time on something with gaping plot holes. I hate watching thrillers - or anything - with too many unresolved answers.

I'm glad you had such a nice weekend! Oh photine sounds really interesting. I'm glad it was good!
I saw your review of Deep Water on your blog. That's really disappointing, the trailer was actually intriguing. =/

Yeah the trailer made it look like something it really wasn’t.

I love foggy weather but I’m glad it wasn’t too cold. That restaurant sounded interesting and delicious! Glad you guys tried it! :)
